A County Durham pub with a potential turnover of over £500,000 has been listed and is looking for a new owner.
The Garden House, found on North Road in Durham is now looking for a new owner according to Stonegate Pub Group.
Described as a “fantastic opportunity” by the group, the pub has a predicted turnover of £568,000.
The pub group stressed that there is “potential to grow all aspects of the business including accommodation and bring the Garden House back to its former glory.

It adds: “The interior is notable for the reclaimed gymnasium floor, modish grey walls, rustic wooden tables, smart black-and-grey seating in the bar area and a more bordello style in the cosy dining area.”
The building also boasts a conservatory which has a wooden-clad ceiling and cast-iron pillars.
Serviced by one main bar, the pub also has open fires adding to the described “cosy feeling” inside the pub.

Stonegate Pub Partners adds: “The pub also has four letting bedrooms which are currently not utilised but could be an additional income stream.
“The external trading area consists of drinking and eating areas to the front and rear of the pub, ideal for extra trade during the warmer months.”
Garden House sits at a guide rent of £38,000 per year and an estimated capital startup of £15,000.
