A family has defied the odds after their latest arrival was born on Valentines Day, sharing the same birthday as two other family members.
The Roberts family from County Durham defied odds of one in 48 million when baby Dolly-Mae was born on Valentine’s Day (February 14) last week, becoming the third generation to share the birthday.
Dolly-Mae Smith joined 76-year-old Great Grandad Wilf Roberts his 23-year-old Granddaughter Mia Rollins - who is Dolly-Mae's auntie - in being born on the day of love.

The odds of all three family members being born on Valentine’s Day stack up at one in 48.6 million.
Lynzi, who is latest arrival Dolly-Mae’s grandma, told The Northern Echo: “Whenever we tell people they can’t believe it.
“My dad Wilfy was born on Valentine’s Day and so was my daughter Mia. Then Dolly-Mae came along last week on the same day.
“We were having a look and the odds of it happening are about 48 million to one.”

Mum and baby are both doing well at home in Peterlee.
“My dad is over the moon. He thinks he’s magic or something because he predicted it too. She was meant to come on the 18th but arrived early," Lynzi added.
“She’s getting on fabulously and mum is doing well too.”
