Two Aldi colleagues in Darlington are celebrating work anniversaries after a combined 45 years with the business.
Victoria Turner, a store assistant in the Darlington store, joined the supermarket back in 1997, while Rajbinder Kaur, a section leader of the specials department at the regional distribution centre, came on board in 2002.
Victoria started as a store assistant at the Teesside Park store, before progressing to store manager and then returning to work in the Darlington store in 2022.
Meanwhile, Rajbinder has had several roles with the business since joining, including warehouse selector, before working her way up to section leader which she has been for the last four years.

From taking part in fundraising events for Aldi’s dedicated charity, Teenage Cancer Trust, to supporting fellow colleagues, both Rajbinder and Victoria are an integral part of Team Aldi.
Commenting on her time at Aldi, Victoria said: “To date, I have worked in nine Aldi stores, watching the business grow and develop throughout the years.
“However, one thing that has remained the same is that I’ve always been part of an amazing team, making some good friends along the way who have all been there to celebrate any achievements with me – like my first promotion to store manager!”
Commenting on her time at Aldi, Rajbinder said: “My favourite thing about working at Aldi is that there are so many opportunities to progress and reach your potential if you want them. In 2018, I was promoted to section leader in the specials department and was awarded department of the year during my first year in the role.”

“Colleagues like Rajbinder and Victoria have played a key part in our growth and success, and I would like to thank them for their contributions.
“Our colleagues allow us to connect with wider communities and continue to provide the high-quality service that customers keep coming back for.”
