A man has been jailed after a burglary at a jewellers in Middlesbrough.
A 43-year-old man has been jailed for 2 and a half years after he was arrested following a burglary at a jewellers in Middlesbrough in 2022.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “Christopher Buckell was arrested after a tray of gold jewellery worth approximately £20,000 was stolen from Goldfactors on Linthorpe Road on the afternoon of Thursday, December 1.
“Middlesbrough CID charged Buckell with commercial burglary and with possession of an offensive weapon after a Stanley knife was found in his pocket.
“He was sentenced earlier this month at Teesside Crown Court.”
