Police have found a former company director went on the run after being found guilty of a series of child sex offences.
Mark Tilley, 60, of Guisborough, was convicted of six counts at Teesside Crown Court today (Thursday, February 16), and was last seen in the North Yorkshire area when he went missing.
A jury found Mr Tilley guilty of two counts of indecent assault, two counts of indecency with a child, and two counts of rape, in the 1990s.
A warrant was been issued for Tilley's arrest. Mr Tilley was previously listed as director of Warrington-based Instrument Consultant Technical Services Ltd, which dissolved in 2019.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson made an urgent appeal to find him after he was last seen heading toward the North Yorkshire area.
Police this evening (Thursday) confirmed he had now been found.
