Pictures of a horrific arson attack on a North East home that left the walls of the property melted have been shared in an attempt to catch those responsible.
On Sunday (February 12), crews from Cleveland Fire and Rescue Service attended a flat fire in Spencerbeck, Middlesbrough after two sofas which were outside the property had been set alight by youths who fled the scene before our arrival.
Two fire engines from Grangetown were on the scene in minutes to deal with the deliberate blaze which had spread to the external insulation, ground floor, first-floor windows and fascias.

Following the incident, firefighters have issued images in an attempt to show the shocking aftermath, alongside an attempt to try and catch those responsible.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "A big thank you to our control room staff and firefighters for their swift response and for keeping our communities safe.
"We are appealing for people to come forward and report any information about this incident or other deliberate fires in their area anonymously through FireStoppers."
