A popular actor and TV presenter travelling the North East met up with a popular actress and music teachers in a show on BBC 2 last week.
Robson Green’s Weekend Escape aired on Wednesday (February 8) and featured the actor joined by Emmerdale actress, Charlie Hardwick, and Susan Robertson, manager of Tees Valley Music Service (TVMS).
Alongside local musician at TVMS marketing head Tom Powell, Ms Robertson introduced Green to idea of a 'wellness choir,' which began at Yarm Wellness in the Summer of 2022 with great success.
After discussing the benefits of singing together as a group, the four of them burst into song and let the harmonies flow.

Speaking after the show's release in January this year, Green said: "I will definitely turn up to one of the Wellness Choir classes when time allows.
"Loved the vibe and the approach to the craft. This contribution was one of the reasons the series is so wonderful."
Meanwhile, Ms Robertson said she greatly enjoyed the "lovely" experience, and praised the programme for being a wonderful way to spotlight the region.
She said: "It was such a lovely thing to be part of. We had such a giggle and I'm just pleased that there was enough footage without us laughing through it to use in the series.

"The whole programme has been a wonderful showcase of the North East and our little section seems to fit perfectly to highlight how beneficial music and the arts are to mental and even physical health."
Adding to this, Powell said he was delighted to meet Green who he had listened to on cassette when he was younger.
He said: "I must be the only person of my generation whose first album on cassette tape was Robson and Jerome.

"I know every lyric to every song - even now! So meeting Robson was amazing. I binge-watched the whole series on iPlayer before it even aired and I loved all of it.
"A masterpiece of TV showing the North East at its best and beautiful references to the environment, creativity and wellbeing."
The section can be found on episode 13 of the series, and is available on BBC iPlayer.
