Police have confirmed a man and woman were arrested after police vans were spotted at a home in a County Durham village.
Cleveland Police have confirmed a man, 43, and woman, 43, were detained after warrants were executed by officers at addresses in Neasham, near Darlington, and High Street, Yarm on Thursday (February 9).
Police confirmed the man had been arrested on suspicion of fraud by representation, false accounting and money laundering.
Meanwhile, they confirmed the woman had been on suspicion of acquiring, using or possessing criminal property.

Both have since been released on bail pending further investigation.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: “Warrants were executed by officers at addresses in Neasham, Darlington and High Street, Yarm yesterday, February 9.
“A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of fraud by representation, false accounting and money laundering, and a 43-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of acquiring, using or possessing criminal property.
“Both have been released on bail pending further investigation.”
The statement was released after The Northern Echo received reports of police vans at an address on New Lane, in Neasham.
A witness at the scene said they had seen people taken away by officers, while investigators remained in the area.
