Preparations are underway to celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort in Darlington.
Darlington Borough Council will be marking the historic occasion over the special May Bank Holiday weekend and, as part of the celebrations, residents are invited to hold a street party on Sunday, May 7.
Anyone wanting to host a party in their street needs to start planning now, especially if applying to close a road during the event.
