Residents in County Durham who have been wronged by builders are being asked to contribute to a brand new Channel 4 show.
The new show, called “Brickin’ It” will be fronted by TV presenter and best-selling author Stacey Solomon.
Viewers of the series will be given easy and helpful tips to makeover their homes themselves.
The show will see Stacey step up to rescue those who have been left high and dry by unscrupulous builders.
It will aim to show how simple, satisfying and cost effective it can be to pick up a power tool and do the work themselves.
Produced by Hello Sunshine, a spokesperson for the organisation said the show was “looking for contributors in Durham now.”
Speaking on the series Stacey Solomon, said: “From an early age, my dad taught me DIY and the importance of fixing things yourself where you can.
“I still find it so satisfying to build or repair around the house and it saves loads of money.
