A 16-year-old boy was left with a concussion after he was attached by three other boys his age while he was fixing the chain on his bike before it was stolen by the group.
It happened at around 6.40pm on Saturday, February 4 on Cornlands Road in York.
The boy had stopped near the entrance to a park to fix the chain on his bike and was approached by three boys around his age.
The group attacked him before stealing his bike leaving the boy with a concussion.

He was received treatment after the incident by Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
All three boys were wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered.
The bike that was stolen was a white Carrera Hustle 2 mountain bike with blue detailing, as seen below.
Officers are appealing for witnesses and asking to hear from anyone who was in the area of Cornlands Road at the time, or who saw anything suspicious, or the incident itself.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “They’d particularly like to speak to anyone who may have captured dash cam or doorbell footage of the incident, or the suspects running away from the scene with the bike.
“Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is asked to email alice.gould@northyorkshire.police.uk. You can also call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask to speak to PC 1408 Alice Gould .
