A Darlington school has been forced to partly close on Wednesday (February 8) after its heating system broke.
Gurney Pease Academy will close the reception class and nursery class for the remainder of the day after the hearing issue was discovered this morning.

Darlington Borough Council has warned parents to check its website and stay in contact with the school to monitor the situation for tomorrow.
In a brief statement, Darlington Borough Council said: "Please note that Gurney Pease has closed their Reception Class and morning nursery due to heating issues."
