Villages in North Yorkshire and Northumberland have made the list of the top most peaceful staycation spots in the UK.
Created by experts Iceheadshop.co.uk to discover which town/village is the most peaceful destination in the UK.
An index was created to pull together a list of peaceful locations by measuring crime rates, Instagram hashtags, population and peaceful outdoor activities.
These were then combined to create an overall peace score out of 100 for each of the 53 analysed locations.
Bamburgh in Northumberland just fell short of the lost with a peaceful score of 60.37/100.
