A warning has been issued after three dogs were admitted to the vet with cannabis poisoning in Darlington.
According to a dog walking service in the town, two dogs were rushed to the vets, while a third was admitted with suspected poisoning.
It's understood that the incidents happened in Low Coniscliffe, near the Gate Lane and Wood Lane areas, and a warning has now been made for dogs not t eat anything they shouldn't.

In an update, Baydale Dog Walkers, based in Darlington, said: "Just a heads up to any dog owners, we have been alerted that Two dogs have been admitted to the vets with cannabis poisoning, picked up in Low Coniscliffe, with a third dog admitted with suspected cannabis poisoning. Please keep an eye out for dogs eating anything they shouldn't."
Thankfully, all three dogs are okay, with two dogs recovering and one dog spending the night at the vet's.
The update added: "They’ve said it’s the river path at the back of Gate Lane nearer the end at Wood Lane. Two dogs are recovering at home and one is in the vet overnight."
