Police are appealing for information following a collision between a bike and a car on a busy County Durham road that left the cyclist with injuries.
Officers from Durham Police are asking for witnesses to the incident that happened at around 5.30pm on Thursday (January 19) on Burn Lane, Newton Aycliffe following reports of a serious collision.

It is believed the cyclist was crossing Burn Lane onto Sid Chaplin Drive when his wheel was hit by a car, causing the cyclist minor injuries.
Officers are now keen to identify the vehicle and driver.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or with dashcam footage is asked to contact PC Treacy on 101 quoting incident number 349 of January 19.
