Evidence was found in the waste and a contact letter was sent to the defendant.
She did not reply and so on September 14, 2022, a Section 108 Notice was sent to the defendant requiring her to assist us in providing information.
The interview was arranged to take place on September 29, 2022 however they failed to attend or contact the council.
The defendant's failure to assist in this investigation means that a significant fly-tip, a deliberate deposit in a quiet countryside area has gone unanswered and the local authority has not been able to identify the perpetrator.
The case was proven and the defendant has been ordered to pay a total of £1232 in costs.
Following the case, people have been taking to social media to call the fly-tipping 'destructive' and 'horrific' - and branding the perpetrator 'shameful'.
