A teenage boy has been airlifted to hospital after a serious crash on Monday (January 16) afternoon.
The boy, who was riding his bike at the time, was involved in a collision with a bus shortly after 3pm.

He suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) in Newcastle where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.
The incident happened on Greatham Back Lane in Hartlepool.
Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage in the area to come forward to assist with their enquiries.

The road remains closed into Monday evening and is expected to remain closed for a number of hours while officers work at the scene.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: “Any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting incident number 009593.”
