With a new series of The Apprentice brings a new batch of businessmen and women looking to please Alan Sugar – but who is North East-born Bradley Johnson?
Self-proclaimed “Northern Lad”, Bradley was born on Teesside and made redundant in 2019 and has since been building up his construction business.
His company now turns over half-a-million pounds making him a self-made success.
Bradley prides himself on his determination and work ethic and feel his can-do attitude and approach to business is “something you’ve got to be proud of.”

He added: “I have a business plan that will see us turn over seven figures after year three, and who knows where else that could take us.”
Along the way he has been working to improve his fear of public speaking, saying that he was always the shy kid and school.
Calling himself the “Del Boy of Teesside” Bradley feels he should be the one to receive a quarter of a million pounds from Lord Sugar because he has a proven business.

Currently there are two episodes of series 17 of The Apprentice out there with episode one seeing contestants jet off to the Caribbean island of Antigua.
The team are tasked with selling and running bespoke tours and the episode involved the usual bickering and in-fighting until one candidate is sent home.
Episode two sees the team manufacturing savoury bao buns for the pubic but one team bites off more than they can chew with a Jurassic-themed bun, leading to explosions in the kitchen.
