Lunar New Year is celebrated across Asia, including China, Vietnam, Korea and Laos. During the two-week festival, people travel to see their family and friends, give gifts, and eat a new year meal.
You can also enjoy fun Year of the Rabbit activities, a gallery trail and dragon dancing.
Tickets and booking
Tickets are £2 for adults and children. Children under 2 years are free.

Parking and Access Information
Free Disabled Parking will be available in Teikyo University carpark, adjacent to the Oriental Museum
Other free event parking is available in the University's Elvet Hill carpark. We have agreed with the University that visitors to the event will be able to use this carpark for the evening.
The Lantern Festival is an exciting celebration. The galleries will be very busy and there will be flashing lights and loud music.
