The site, located within the busy park, just off the A1085 Trunk Road, will transform the site of the old Outfit store if given permission.
Designs submitted to the council have been lodged to convert the front of the unit with the T K Maxx red and white signage.
According to plans, the store will sell women's clothing, accessories and shoes on the ground floor with men's and children's clothing and homeware on the upper floor.
Through the plans, TK Maxx has also highlighted its intentions of the store having 'click and collect' services.
