Two people who handed themselves in to police in connection with the alleged murder of Adam Thomson in Hartlepool will now appear at Crown Court after a date was set.
A 30-year-old man and 15-year-old boy who handed themselves in to Cleveland Police yesterday morning (Monday, January 9) will now appear at Teesside Crown Court on Thursday, January 12.
The pair appeared at Teesside Magistrates' Court today accused of murder, before being remanded into custody.
Last week, a 39-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were also charged in relation to the incident, and have also appeared in court.

Sarah Hadfield, 34, of Brenda Road, and Anthony Hadfield, 39, of Wensleydale Street, both Hartlepool, have been charged with the murder of Mr Thomson.
The pair appeared at Teesside Crown Court yesterday morning (Monday, January 9) for a brief preliminary hearing.
Adam Thomson died following an incident in Sydenham Road, Hartlepool, at around 3am on Wednesday, January 4.
A murder investigation was launched by Cleveland Police following the death of the 30-year-old.

In a tribute released by police, Adam’s family said: “Adam was a much-loved father, son and brother who will be sorely missed by all of his family and friends.

“He was a quiet lad, and a doting father to his three-year-old daughter. We are devastated to lose him so young.
“We would request privacy at this time to allow us to grieve.”
The two accused defendants were remanded in custody until they are due to go on trial on July 3 this year.
