A North East town has seen a cordon erected and a huge police presence after an ongoing investigation.
Crime Scene Investigators were spotted at the scene on Sydenham Road in Hartlepool from 8.25am this morning.
It is currently unknown as to why there is such a large police presence and why CSI is on the scene, however, we are aware an investigation is ongoing.

Police provided a comment on the incident late this morning but did not divulge the reason for the cordon.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “Police were called to a report of an incident at 3am this morning, Wednesday 4th January, on Sydenham Road in Hartlepool.
"No further information can be provided at this time whilst enquiries continue.
"Officers will be investigating the incidents in the areas of Sydenham Road and Brenda Road until further notice."

North East Ambulance Service also confirmed that they had been called to the scene, but also did not reveal the nature of the incident.
A spokesperson for the service said: “We were called to an incident on Sydenham Road in Hartlepool shortly after 3am this morning.
"We dispatched two ambulance crews and a specialist paramedic. For anything further, please speak to Cleveland Police.”
