A fire in Stockton resulted in emergency services being on the scene for four hours.
A fire was reported from a property on Dovecot Street in Stockton at around 10:15pm last night (Monday, January 2).
Cleveland Fire Brigade had three fire engines in attendance.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Fire Brigade said: “We were called to an incident on 02/01/2023 at 22:14 on Dovecot Street in Stockton. Three fire engines in attendance from Stockton and Thornaby, as well as the CARP from Saltburn.
“Two hose reels and six breathing apparatus were used. 5% damage to first floor and roof voids, as well as water damage to all floors and adjacent property.
“Investigations will take place as per our usual procedure. We left the scene at 02.19.”
A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said: “We assisted Cleveland Fire Brigade with the fire on Dovecot Street. The fire is not being treated as suspicious.”
The North East Ambulance Service was approached for comment.
