Thousands of pounds worth of camera equipment was stolen in a suspected robbery.
Police are appealing for information after a man was walking through Stanhope Park, Darlington on Saturday, December 17. He was passing the tennis courts at around 9.30pm when he was approached by another man who ordered him to give him his bag.
The suspect is described as being dressed in dark clothing, was smoking and had a local accent. A second suspect is also said to have approached the victim from behind and taken the bag from him.
The black and green backpack contained camera equipment including a Nikon D850 camera, two lenses, a tripod, camera filters, a battery pack and a memory card.

Officers particularly want to hear from anyone who might have CCTV/doorbell footage of the area at the time or anyone who might have been offered the items for sale.
