A smashed window has appeared at a well-known Darlington restaurant, pictures have revealed.
Oven, on Duke Street in Darlington, is currently sporting a dramatic-looking smashed window.
The charming eatery has stood proudly on one of Darlington’s ritziest streets for years but the smashed window is what is grabbing the attention of passers-by.
It is as yet unknown what caused the smashed window and whether it was accidental or deliberate.
Glass is being held together with tape until the issue is resolved.
A spokeswoman for Durham Police confirmed that nothing had been reported to police regarding the window.
The Northern Echo approached Oven for comment but we did not receieve a response.
