Newcastle social media influencer and model Rachel Mee has died aged 25, just days before her son’s first Christmas.
The social media influencer, who was better known as Rachel Kaitlyn, had over 40,000 followers on Instagram and also worked as a model on OnlyFans.
Rachel, who was born in Blyth, tragically died on Sunday (December 18) just nine months after the birth of her baby son Kyro in March and days before his first Christmas.

The model posted a snap on her Instagram page on December 16, just two days before her death.
An outpouring of tributes have been left to the tragic 25-year-old, with two fundraisers set up by friends to raise money towards her funeral costs and son’s upbringing.
One GoFundMe page titled ‘Rachel Mee’s funeral and to help baby Kyro’ has already raised over £5,750 (as of 6.30pm on December 23), with a second named ‘Kyro’s future’ having reached £600 in donations.
Paying tribute to her friend on the GoFundMe page, Claire Robinson who set up the fundraiser, said: “We are all deeply saddened by this sad news and if we can all come together in memory of the beautiful Geordie girl she was then let’s do what we can.

“This Christmas will be Kryo’s first, and devastatingly his mummy will not be there.”
Meanwhile posting on Rachel’s most recent Instagram post, fellow influencer Danielle Westbrook wrote: “Rest with angels you beautiful soul.”
Rachel also ran a business through Instagram, selling crystal encrusted clothes, lingerie and bikinis.
The cause of her death is yet to be confirmed.
