A man has been left hospitalised with a serious head injury, following an assault in Darlington earlier this month.
The incident happened on Sunday, December 11 at around 10.50am on Kelso Walk, Darlington.

Three people were involved in an altercation which left a man with a serious head injury, and needing hospital treatment.
Officers were called to the scene and launched a full investigation into the assault.
A man and woman known to the victim were arrested but have since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Police in Darlington are now appealing for any potential witnesses that might have been in the Kelso Walk or Whitby Way area at the time, or anyone who might have captured the incident on doorbell, dashcam or CCTV footage, to contact them.
