A crash in a North East town has left two in hospital and one person arrested for drug driving and the incident is currently ongoing.
The incident happened at around 5.50pm today (Thursday, December 22) and involved a black Audi A1 and motorcycle on Marshall Avenue in Middlesbrough.
The rider and pillion passenger on the motorbike have taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Audi, a 38-year-old woman, has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Police say the road will be closed for several hours and drivers are being urged to avoid the area and seek a different route.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “Anyone who witnessed incident or has any dashcam footage is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101 and quote reference number 229602”
