A 53-year-old Redcar man was pushed and threatened with a six-inch knife during an attempted robbery.
The man was walking down Dale Street, New Marske at around 5.45pm on Tuesday (December 20) when he was approached from behind by two other men.
It is alleged that the two other men pushed the victim in the back and threatened him with a six-inch knife during an attempted robbery.

As a car approached, the suspects fled the scene empty-handed and ran down a nearby road.
The victim did not sustain any injuries.
The suspects, who both wore face coverings, have been described as between 25 and 29-year-old and about five-foot and 10 inches tall to six-inches tall.

The man with the knife was wearing a black hoody with the hood pulled up while the second man was wearing a dark blue padded-style jacket with a fur-trimmed hood.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have CCTV footage, is asked to call Cleveland Police on 101 quoting incident number 228451.
