A property in a flat complex was evacuated after a parked car was shunted into the building in an apparent hit and run incident today (Saturday December 17).
The shaken occupant was advised to leave their home in Roseberry Flats, Billingham, which suffered some structural damage in the incident in the early hours.
A vehicle, suspected to have been uninsured, was said to have collided with a car parked on the roadside, which was, in turn, shunted into the front of the property, on The Causeway.
