Police have released an e-fit image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a suspected serious assault last month.
Officers looking into the assault say that the incident occurred near The Green Bridge, Thorngate, Barnard Castle at around 11.30pm on Saturday, November 12.
The suspect is white, in his early 40s, medium build, around 5ft 10 with dark brown hair and was wearing a light blue checked shirt and dark blue jeans.

As part of their investigation, they have released an e-fit image and are urging people to get in touch if they spotted the man around the area at the time, or if they recognise him.
Officers looking into the case have also provided contact details to anyone who knows anything about the man or the incident in question.
