A Darlington Post Office has been closed 'indefinitely' after hitting disruptions with running the facility - with the central Post Office looking to reopen the community asset 'as soon as possible'.
Over the weekend, it was announced by the Post Office that they had been forced to close Geneva Road Post Office in the town on Monday, November 14 and haven't opened it since.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Post Office said: "We are writing to inform you that, regrettably, due to operational issues the Geneva Road branch in Darlington closed temporarily on Monday, November 14."

The statement then goes on to reassure residents that the branch will be open 'as soon as possible' and that it won't be lost to any Post Office cuts.
The spokesperson added: "I would like to reassure you that we are working hard to keep any period of closure to a minimum and we are currently investigating the options available which will enable us to reinstate a Post Office service to the local community.
"I exploring this, it is important that any future service is sustainable for the person operating the service, and for Post Office Ltd."
After the announcement was made, several members of the community that use Geneva Road as their local Post Office branch took to social media to express their concern at the prolonged closure.
Taking to social media, one person said: "I expected this closure to just be a few days, but it's been almost a month," while another added: "Post Office need to bring the service back as soon as possible, people rely on it within the community - it's poor."
It wasn't just the local community that called for the Post Office to reopen over the weekend, though.
Cllr Kevin Nicholson, who represents the Eastbourne ward at Darlington Borough Council, said: "I know how well-used this facility is locally, and I have already raised this issue with the Post Office team directly. Hopefully, the matter will be resolved shortly."
Since the closure has taken place, people have been forced to use the Post Office at Skerne Park or Blackwell.
