With temperatures dropping and snow falling across the region, the Met Office has forecast more cold weather on the way.
Areas of the North East are set to see thermometers going as low as -4C this week as we continue to be battered by sub-zero temperatures.
And temperatures are not even expected to reach positive figures on Monday.

Yellow weather warnings for ice, fog and snow are still in effect for many North East and North Yorkshire coastal areas this week.
A warning for ice and fog is in place for Monday for much for the Tees Valley and North Yorkshire, including Darlington, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Stockton and Redcar.
Over the next few days the forecaster has also warned of “wintery showers” a long with “widespread frost," and snow in places.
