With many people across the North East and North Yorkshire waking up to snowy and icy conditions this morning, we’ve had a look to see when it could snow again in the following days.
Yesterday snow fell on many areas across the North East including Durham and Newcastle.
An ice warning from the Met Office continues to be in place until 12pm today and many will be battling the cold conditions on their way to work this morning.
However, with a cold spell set to continue, that won’t be the last of the snow.
Met Office has revealed when it might snow again in the following days and what to expect.
When will it snow again in the North East?
For much of the next few days cold conditions will continue with some areas seeing as low as -4 and -5 throughout the night.

However, it will stay mostly dry and sunny with mostly mist and freezing fog hitting the region.
Meanwhile, looking into next week, snowy showers are expected to continue across the North East on Tuesday, December 13.
In Darlington, so far, it doesn’t look as though snow is expected to hit and the area will see mainly cold and cloudy conditions.
For more northern areas, however, such as Durham, Met Office is predicting a 30 per cent chance of snow at 6pm and 9pm with a further 50 per cent chance of snow at 9am on Wednesday.
WXCharts warns that snow could fall on Sunday, December 11, Monday, December 12 and Tuesday, December 13.
The forecaster has predicted up to 2.6cm of snow in the North East with weather maps looking as though snow will blanket much of the UK.
