A North East music festival has announced its first wave of performers - including big names such as Circa Waves and The Sherlocks.
Stockton Calling, a day-long music festival, is to take place on April 8 next year over multiple venues in Stockton town centre.
Earlier this week the festival announced that The Sherlocks would join headliners Circa Waves & Sleeper at next year’s festival.
Today, organisers announced an additional wave of artists with The Pale White, Straight Girl and Tom A Smith leading the charge. Local big hitters also join the line-up in Cortney Dixon, Luke Royalty and The Lulas with plenty more yet to be announced.

Paul Burns, the festival's organiser, said: "It's wonderful to be able to add names of this calibre to our line-up - and we take great pride in the number of homegrown artists enjoying the kind of success that makes their inclusion in Stockton Calling a no-brainer.
"The great bookings continue to flow and 2023 is shaping up to be one of the best days that music fans will have seen for quite a while."
Tickets for Stockton Calling, which takes place on Easter Saturday, are now on sale for £35 from www.stocktoncalling.co.uk. The 2022 event enjoyed a record attendance following its successful return after two-year gap hiatus caused by the pandemic.
In 2022, the festival saw over 80 bands perform, and takes pride in its lineup of the best emerging original musicians.
