Police have launched an urgent appeal after a man was robbed of his e-scooter at knifepoint by three balaclava-clad men. 

Officers from Cleveland Police were alerted to the incident at around 5.45pm on Monday (December 5) in the area of Grange Park on Grange Road, Stockton. 

During the frightening incident, a 23-year-old man was robbed of an e-scooter by three males wearing balaclavas who were riding a red and white off-road motorcycle and brandished a knife, took the e-scooter and made off in the direction of the petrol station on Oxbridge Lane.

One of the male suspects is described as wearing a blue jacket with a camouflage green bodywarmer and light-coloured joggers.

Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact Stockton CID on 101, quoting incident number 219580.
