Quetion Time is coming to County Durham and has launched an appeal for audience members.
The popular BBC topical debate programme will be filmed in Bishop Auckland on Thursday, December 8.
Hosted by Fiona Bruce, it will see audience members given the opportunity to grill guests from the worlds of politics and media.
Applications are now open to those who would like the chance to pose questions and join in what is often a fiery debate.
Prospective audience members are asked to come up with two questions that can be put to the show’s guests and to answer a questionnaire.
Filming is believed to take place at the Tap & Tun, on Newgate Street.
Those who are successful will be contacted by the show's team on the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday prior to filming.
The full line-up of panel guests is due to be confirmed next week.
The show has travelled around the region in recent years, with programmes from Sedgefield and Darlington being broadcasted to thousands of viewers on the BBC.
