Drone images have this week have shown the increase in visitors to a retail park as Christmas is just around the corner.
Durham City Retail Park contains big retailers including; Boyes, The Food Warehouse, B&Q, Argos and Sports Direct.
Drone photography taken yesterday (Thursday, December 1) illustrates how the beginning of Advent coincides with the beginning of busy shops.
Amateur photographer Andrei Lespezeanu told The Northern Echo: “I was surprised to see a lot more traffic and movement than I would usually see during this time of the day throughout the week.
“It will be interesting to see how the retail industry will cope throughout this festive time of the year.
“Many customers may be left disappointed as stock and product availability is already starting to decline, leaving customers deeply worried and anxious.”
