Staff at a North East store were left ‘extremely shaken’ after armed men robbed a Sainsbury’s.
Two men, armed with weapons, entered the shop in Bankfields, Eston, just after 6.20am.
They proceeded to steal cigarettes and alcohol, before leaving in the direction of Woodcock Close.
One of the men has been described as wearing a blue hoody with a stripe down the arm and dark blue bottoms.

The other has been described as wearing light denim jeans and a grey and yellow waterproof jacket.
Two staff members were not physically harmed but they were left extremely shaken.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “We would appeal for anyone with information or who may have dashcam or CCTV to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number, quoting Ref 215390.
“Information can also be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or by phoning 0800 555 111.”
