A police appeal has been made after an elderly man was apparently robbed in the street in Stockton.
Cleveland Police has asked witnesses to come forward after the incident, near to Jones Newsagents, on Scurfield Road, Hardwick, at about 7.30pm on Friday.
The victim was said to have been thrown to the ground and had items stolen from his wallet.
If anyone witnesses the incident or captured it on cctv, or may have dashcam footage, then they are urged to contact Cleveland Police, on 101, quoting the incident number SE22208888.
