A cyclist was pushed off his bike by someone in a passing vehicle in Redcar this week, and police are appealing to the public for information and/or dashcam footage.
The incident happened on Monday evening (November 14) at 6:35pm when a man in his 40s was cycling along Kirkleatham Lane, between the roundabout at Coatham Road, riding toward the car garages at the crossroad with Trunk Road.
He had just passed over the railway bridge when a vehicle drove past him and an unknown person inside the vehicle pushed him off his bike and into some bushes, causing minor injuries.
Several motorists stopped to help the cyclist however no details were obtained from these people at the time.
Cleveland Police is appealling for these drivers and anyone else with information to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number quoting ref 206450.
