BBC Breakfast co-host Naga Munchetty was forced to leave mid-broadcast over a mysterious illness making it difficult for her to present.
The incident, which occurred this morning (Friday, November 18), saw her co-host Charlie Stayt left to carry on the show all by himself as Munchetty was forced to leave a mere 30 minutes into the broadcast.
The presenter, who has been a staple of British TV and journalism, vacated the couch trying her best to carry on with what appeared to be a sore throat and raspy voice.
When she left the BBC Breakfast coach, Charlie tried to explain where she had gone to.
Charlie said that Naga had just "stepped off" the set because of her voice and that he wasn't sure what would happen next.
On the morning talk show, Charlie interviewed Chancellor Jeremy Hunt amid criticism of his newly announced budget as the UK slides into recession.
He also spoke with Scottish actor, Brian Cox and the physicist and TV presenter Brian Cox about their shared names and trouble booking the same hotel.

Viewers react as Naga Munchetty walks off set
Fans were quick to note Naga's sore throat and difficult-to-hear voice with one user on Twitter saying: "Somebody give Naga a Strepsil."
When Naga Munchetty left the coach, one user commented: "I gather he is having to run the show by himself as Naga Munchetty has gone home unwell, so I'd probably let him off perhaps not performing as he usually does under the extra pressure!"
While another was confused, adding: "Where is Naga Munchetty today and why isn’t she on BBC Breakfast?"
