A major new warehouse in the North East where more than 1,000 will be employed looks like it is just weeks away from opening.
Amazon is set to open the latest 'Fulfilment Centre' in the Wynyard Business Park, near Stockton, by Christmas, according to sources.
The huge new site has been months in the making with the enormous structure visible to drivers from the A19.

The online retailer is yet to confirm an exact opening date but a number of jobs for full and part-time staff have already gone live.
This week, fresh pictures from The Northern Echo revealed work on the site was almost complete with contractors still on the scene.
Pictures showed how the cladding had been added with the entrance, where hundreds of workers will pile in every single day, also looking almost complete.
The staff car park also appears to have been largely finished with a number of cars, believed to belong to contractors, taking up the spaces outside the building.

Pictures taken earlier this year revealed all four facades of the building had been largely completed, but the giant light-up Amazon logos had not been added.
Once open, it is believed more than 1,300 permanent jobs will be created and hundreds of seasonal roles too.
It will join Amazon's existing warehouses in Darlington, Durham and Gateshead, which have all opened in the last two years, creating more than 5,200 jobs between them.
Amazon is yet to confirm any further details on the latest warehouse but a spokesperson previously said: “We are excited about our latest project in Teesside.
"We are in the very early stages of our development and look forward to sharing more information as the project progresses.”
