A new Spanish-style tapas restaurant will open it’s doors at the Metrocentre this weekend.
Tapas Revolution will unveil its new North East venue at Saturday November 19 morning and is promising to bring a taste of Spain to the region.
The eatery will open at 11.45am on Saturday with an ‘extensive menu’ including tapas classics such as tortilla, croquetas and chorizo, as well as bigger dishes, cocktails, Spanish wines and sangria.

And the first 100 diners through the door will be able to get their hands on a free tapas dish each, 20% off their next visit, and be entered into a draw to win one of five £100 gift vouchers.
There’ll also be a Balearic DJ-cum-entertainer performing for diners on the opening day.
The arrival of the chain’s eleventh UK store in the North East comes after a six-figure investment and has already created 25 new jobs. Some vacancies are still available for wait staff.
James Picton, managing director of Tapas Revolution, told The Northern Echo: “We are delighted to be opening our doors to the people of the North East in our Metrocentre restaurant, this Saturday.

We will be offering the first 100 people in the queue on Saturday a free main Tapas dish, 20% off on their next visit and the chance for 5 people to win a £100 voucher to spend in our Metrocentre restaurant.
“The response and excitement that we have already received prior to the opening to our venue on Saturday is absolutely amazing.”
The Northern Echo took a sneak peak inside the new venue ahead of opening day.
