A spectacular festive attraction is arriving in the North East once again with Winter Wonderland at Rainton Arena, Houghton-le-Spring.
The event is free to enter and pay-as-you-go for attractions such as ice skating, funfair rides, food stalls, and a fully-licensed tipi bar.
Winter Wonderland is open from Saturday, November 19 until January 1 so there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy a fun day out.
There is also the chance for little ones to meet Father Christmas in his grotto and he will even be there on Christmas Eve.
It is hailed as the largest Christmas attraction in the North East with its huge number of attractions.
There will also be a Christmas wreath-making workshop on November 28, Sleeping Beauty The Pantomime from December 11 to December 24, a Take That tribute band on December 2 and 3 and more.
A new attraction for this year is Grinchmas. Children will join a host of characters on a magical adventure to help the Grinch find his Christmas spirit.
There will be all kinds of chaos and Christmas crafts, as children make their way through a one-hour festive trail.
This event runs from Saturday, November 19 to Saturday, December 24.
