A young thug who took part in an armed confrontation in the middle of a housing estate has been locked up.
Lewis Robson armed himself with a machete during the clash involving four young men in June.
The 20-year-old was caught on CCTV brandishing the weapon on Kenmore Road, Middlesbrough, whilst others involved were also carrying weapons.
Chris Baker, prosecuting, told Teesside Crown Court that Robson and one of his friends became embroiled in the affray with two other young men.
The judge heard how at one point Robson and his friend were chased by three dogs before the defendant eventually fled the scene in a car.

Robson, of Hume House, Stockton, pleaded guilty to affray and possession of a bladed article at the earliest opportunity.
The three other people involved - Liam Chalmers, Kenneth Grange, and a 17-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons – were all dealt with at earlier hearings at Teesside Magistrates’ Court.
Michele Turner, mitigating, said her client had taken full advantage of his time on remand to address of cannabis addiction.
She added: “He has spent more time in custody than the others were sentenced too despite being the first to plead guilty.”
Judge Deborah Sherwin told Robson it would be wrong of her to sentence him to longer than his co-accused and imposed a six-month prison sentence.
“It seems to me that it would be an outrage that having pleaded guilty you should be dealt with in by serving way more time in prison than the others involved,” she said.
“You have had a taste of what can happen – only you can sort your life out.”
Robson replied: “I have learnt from the mistakes that I have made.”
