Two men have been charged in connection with the death of 36-year-old Carlos Boyce in Middlesbrough.
The men, aged 37 and 52, have been charged with murder and with grievous bodily harm as detectives continue to investigate an alleged incident in Homerton Road in Middlesbrough.
Carlos was sadly found dead inside a property there last Friday (November 11).
Another 36-year-old man sustained injuries which required hospital treatment.
The two men charged have been remanded to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday November 16).
This week Carlos's family released a heartfelt tribute to him, describing him as a 'loving and doting' dad.
In a statement, the family said: "Carlos was a loving and doting dad, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
“He was loved massively and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
“Carlos was described by his son as the best man in the world and that he was his idol.”
