Fast-food giant Burger King has opened a new restaurant in the North East – and there’s 1,000 free burgers on offer.
The new Burger King restaurant has opened its doors at the Manor Walks shopping centre in Cramlington, Northumberland and is giving away free burgers to celebrate.
Work had been underway for the last two months transforming the former Frankie and Benny unit into the new Burger King.

Speaking about the new store Alasdair Murdoch, CEO of Burger King UK, said: “We know the people of Cramlington love the great-tasting food of Burger King, so we’ve listened to their requests and are very excited to bring all their favourites to their neighbourhood.
“Our home – of the Whopper! – is their home.”

And burger fans will be able to get their hands on a free burger on Wednesday (November 16) as the store plans to give away 1,000 free ‘Whoppers’ to celebrate the opening.
Anyone wishing to get their hands on one of the free burgers will need to download the Burger King app and retrieve a code to pick up the first-come-first-served deal in store.
The opening is the latest in a line of new Burger King restaurants which have arrived recently, or are set to arrive soon.
The brand announced plans last month for a new location at the former Harvester store in Metroasis, Gateshead as a new two-storey site in Sunderland also opened its doors.
