A factory worker has died at a factory in North Yorkshire as an investigation has been launched, The Northern Echo can confirm.
A person working at the Cleveland Steel and Tubes Ltd site on the Dalton Industrial Estate was involved in an incident on Tuesday, November 8.
It is understood that the worker died at the scene.
Today, Hambleton District Council confirmed an investigation was underway after the death at the factory, which is near Thirsk.

A spokesperson for Hambleton District Council told The Echo that an investigation began on Tuesday.
They said: "We are investigating a death which happened on Tuesday 8 November, at Cleveland Steel and Tubes ltd at Dalton Industrial Estate near Thirsk.
"Our investigation work began on Tuesday and is currently ongoing.”
Established in 1973, the stockholder provides products to 500 active customers each year.
The company has supplied repurposed tube for the 2012 Olympic Stadium in London, the London Eye, and the roof over Court No. 1 at Wimbledon.
