A man has been arrested following an alleged incident that lead to a man dying in his home and another man being left with serious injuries.
The incident happened after 5.30pm last night (Friday, November 11) on Homerton Road in Middlesbrough.
Police received reports that two men had been assaulted.
A man inside the address was pronounced dead shortly after.
Another man, aged in his 30s, was confirmed to have sustained serious injuries and is currently being treated in hospital.
Police have now confirmed that a 45-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the alleged incident.

He is currently facing questioning and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police added: “We would again appeal for anyone with information/dashcam or CCTV who has not yet spoken to police to come forward.
